65TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE VICTORY IN THE GREAT PATRIOTIC WAR OF 1941-1945

Online-Catalogue of the Soviet Orders and Medalsfrom the Pushkin Museum collection is devoted to the 65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, one of the outstanding victories in Russian and world military history, which was won in the Second World War on May 9, 1945.

THE CATALOGUE OF RUSSIAN MEDALS AND ENGRAVINGS

The Catalogue is prepared by Numismatic and Engravings Departments of the State Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts and dedicated to its collections of medals and prints. Altogether 523 medals and 51 engravings have been published in this Catalogue illustrated by digital images. The Catalogue of engravings includes some prints which were used as prototypes for medals' compositions.
