Museum during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945
In 1941 the main part of museum treasures was evacuated. The bombs destroyed the glass roof of the Museum. Snow and water fallen down straight to the exhibition rooms. Museum staffs daily moved snow and water, cleaning floors.
