65th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945

The collection of Soviet decorations from the Pushkin Museum comprises specimens of the orders and medals produced at Moscow and Leningrad Mints and coming to the Museum mainly in 1950s. There is a first Soviet Order ("Red Banner"), awards which were instituted during the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945 (the Order of Patriotic War, the Order of Glory etc.) and jubilee medals dedicated to the 20th and 30th anniversaries of the Victory on May 9, 1945.
