As we promised last summer, we have been working towards the replacement of the PDF version of our INC Newsletter with a new online blog. We are delighted to announce that this new resource has gone live.

Exhibition "Gold coins in history of Romanov dynasty" in the International Numismatic Club Museum

Visitors can see coins of all emperors of the Romanov dynasty. More than 700 coins dating from 1613 to 1917 are on display. Coins from the collection of the International Numismatic Club Museum form the main part of the exposition. The rarest pieces from the Museums of the Moscow Kremlin, the State Historical Museum and private collections are also represented. This collaboration between private and state institutions enables to show the full series of gold coins of the Romanov dynasty period.

International Medallic Project 2017: "I HAVE A DREAM..."

I Have a Dream is the 12th edition of the traditional project of the Medallic Sculpture Studio at the National Academy of Art. It consists of seven sessions during the months of: February, March, April, May, October, November and December of 2017.

Medals by Andrey Mishin with text of books of Wisdom were published as separate edition in 2016. The Deuterocanonical “Book of Wisdom of Solomon” and “Book of the All-Virtuous Wisdom of Joshua ben Sira” illustrated by 72 pictures of new medallic series started in 2015–2016.

Medallist Andrey Mishin donated the book to library of Coins&Medals department.
