Exhibition "Medals and Coins of the Epoch of Catherine II from the Collection of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts"08.07.2021
Joint exhibition project of the Pushkin State Museum of Fine Arts and the Orenburg Museum of Fine Arts is dedicated to medals and coins of the epoch of Empress Catherine II. A part of the Pushkin Museum's numismatic collection is on display for the first time; one can see commemorative and award medals and crosses, tokens, coins and decorations of the orders. The exhibits tell about Russia in the late 18th century, as well as about the personality of the empress and her deeds. |
