The Medal for Conspisious Labour was istituted for the outstanding achievements of construction, agriculture, science and engineering, for the great contribution to the victory and struggle against enemy.

History

More than 44,000 Medals were awarded during the Great Patriotic War, and in all of 2 millions to 1977.
